Interesting shapes made here. I have a kind of personal pet peeve about seeing the wall texture, as I've tried so hard to not show it in many of my own photos. For some reason I think it just makes a shot look like a snapshot. I think you could have just cropped a big chunk of the left out and brought more attention to the limbs shown... perhaps even make that formed square fit the rule of 3rds and become the bottom left corner.

Tonally this is really cool. Normally I'd say up the contrast but in this case I think the dull greyness lends itself to a sort of eerie feeling. These strange muted greys coming out of the darkness... I'm not so sure about the placement and composition though, a different arrangement or cropping may have better served the shot.

Visually this piece is very interesting. But to me it seems like a straight photo of an interesting sort of sculpture. I think this would have been better with perhaps a close up on one section or even with some dramatic lighting. At that point I think it could be a great photograph instead of a photo of a cool thing.

I like this though I think for me it would be more effective with more than just the arm... maybe even just half of his body.
