Her Eyes...by richabhatiaComment: I don't always (actually seldom) agree with everyone else, but I loved this shot, the perspective, the framing, the B&W, everything is superior. |

Smileby BigKComment: Nice, nice shot. Great tone and tack sharp. Super use of space and you go from black/black to bright white without blowing anything out. This is my pick for at least a Top 10. |

Shining Through by scalvertComment: Super photo, this was one of my handful of favorites on my first 'pass' through. Clean, crisp, sharp, nice tint and the eyes are wonderful. I'll be looking for this in the Top 5 (hope I don't jinx you) |

Curved Sleepby sb404Comment: I like this a lot. I'm a sucker for contrast and unique lighting, plus there is a lot of emotion conveyed for basically a static shot. Nice job, here's your 10. |

Surprisedby TerramarComment: This is my favorite category- portraits. I like the composition, the color and the 'energy'. Nice job. Great model. |

Stepsby JutildaComment: Framing is really good, leads us to and away from the subject- which must be what you're trying. I don't know about the 'grain', probably because of my insecurity/fear of using it. Nice, nice image! |

Foot and Pawsby JutildaComment: This is great. It has a nice zen kind of feel about it. I'm reading the Tao of Photography and I think this fits. You have an excellent eye. |

Starting the Climbby JutildaComment: I think you're right- the groom gets lost in the background and this doesn't have that 'tack sharp' focus you do so well, having said that, it is really a very, very nice image. |

Nicoleby CalliopeKelComment: I really like this- both the eyes and the hair are very, very nicely done. Short, short DOF puts all the focus back on the model. Clean, sharp image. You do a great job with these. |
