The Lucky Pennyby magnetic9999Comment: Not quite a 10 but a good strong 9. Like the way the light brings out the writing and shows the way from the left side of the shot to spotlight the penny. Good corpping. |

The Sixth Floor Windowby goodtempoComment: This is a textbook perfect picture of where Kennedy was shot. This picture is permanently etched in my mind from seeing it over and over and over. This as good as, and better than, most pictures in textbooks, newsreels, and old newspapers. I know because I have the old newspapers and was studying for college finals that day in 1963. This is a 1st place winner anytime. PTL. |

The 13th Horseshoeby SimmsComment: I knew you turned the horseshoe up so as to not poor out your good luck, but I never heard of turning the 13 upside down. I am glad to see you using real horseshoes. Could have used a little more lit. But pretty good shot. |

Effigyby SwashbucklerComment: If this is what I think it is I like it. Well done. I really like it over all. Good idea. Only one like it in the bunch I've seen. Unique! Not good enough for a 10 but a solid 8. The more I think it is a dpchallenge vote sheet. I hope it is because I'm raising it to a 9 based on that, because of the idea of that. |

You WERE warned it could happenby cbonsallComment: Don't understand the title but it is a good shot. Not a 10 for me interest wise but is an overall 8 photo wise. I don't really like the dark in the upper right hand corner. Maybe you used it to set off what ever is the black thing on the left. That doesn't turn me on either. Still a good 8 |

Day of the Dead - Mexicoby JEMComment: You use different colors than I would choose. Photo wise it is technically good - clear, good cropping even though closer than I like personally, very representative for your culture. Could be from a text book. Definite 9 technically |

Morton's Mishapby kathleenmComment: backing off a little might have made the shakers sharper. Needs better cropping also. |

Bad Luck for a Black Cat to Cross the Roadby DianaComment: Good clear beautiful landscape photo. Love the colors of the leaves and the country side. But would have liked a little closer to the cat. Funny how he was right in the middle of the shade. I think that adds to it, intentional or not. Good stong 7. |

Chopsticks standing in bowl=Death! (Japan)by NatashaComment: Don't know of the superstition but will take your word for it. As far as the photo goes should have cropped off the bottom 1/4 of it to get the balance better. Other wise is pretty clear and rather good. Not a 10 but it is a nice 7 |
