It took me a minute to understand the title as I missed the burger king sign at first. You think it would be obvious but in my opinion the crop just didn't let you focus on it enough to give the impact I think you wanted. Maybe it could have been larger or brighter in that area.

You obviously put thought into this and it is original however for me it just lacks appeal, I think it is to dark all round and not enough interest or colour in the garbage itself, still you did have a good idea and that is the hard part.

Very clear photo and I really like the depth of field used. It just lacks the appeal of a winning photo for me in that it isn't really interesting, I think the crop is what makes it not work for me. Also I have to say alot of smokers might be insulted by your title, lots of people have bad habits and don't like to be called trashy. Hope thats not to nit picky for you. 5

This shot is different however I found it lacked to much focus, nothing really to look at and no colours jump out, it is definately not a bad shot just lacked the punch I feel you need for a winning shot.
