There are so many things to enjoy in ths image; the diagonals that lead you around and around, the multi-level hues of the mountains, the vertical repetition of the windmills. The problem is nothing screams shape and I'm left with linearities and patterns. Keeping the topic in mind, I can't score this as much as I like it.

Your image does contain strong shapes, but for me they seem more a distraction than the focal point. I think the points at the hand and head where the drinker get lost in the background are also weaknesses.

This is a good interpretation. The subdued tonal range of the framed 'picture' contrasted with the highlights of the circular 'frame' maintained the shape as a dominate aspect.
