Abbey Ruinsby BludnokComment: OK, this looks like the same pic as someone else entered (the other was way blown out). This is still over exposed (watch for the blinkies on your preview). A bit of levels, saturation and sharpness may have helped this particular image. |

Watching Over Your Loved Onesby sonniejakeComment: I'm not a big fan of direct statue pictures don't mind if they are used as part of composing a bigger picture. For example... maybe the same statue with a person kneeling at the bottom of it shot with the camera on the ground catching the person praying and the statue up higher (hope you get what I mean). Spend a little more time composing your shot and get creative. |

untitledby whiterookComment: This doesn't come across as 'from the ground up' for me. More of a landscape perspective whose subject matter doesn't hold interest. Would like to see a more vertical aspect from the camera for this challenge. |

Brownby ArmyRugbyComment: Not enough contrast for this image, a bit of work in levels would probably have helped a lot. Subject does not hold my interest. |

Why So Rush? by ryan_li64Comment: This doesn't come across as 'from the ground up' for me - more of a cityscape. Would like to see a more vertical aspect from the camera for this challenge. |

An American Parisby JadeComment: Definitely from the ground up but the small image doesn't help the shot. A better shot may have been had using a different composition by leaving out the wall on the left and moving more to the right. |

Fun in the sunby gysComment: Whilst this is 'from the ground up' it's doesn't hold my attention. May have worked better with more DOF and no distractions further in the pic. |
