Lady-in-Waitingby DrKDBComment: Nicely composed and captured ... with good detail. There's a bit of residual evidence that the water portion has been photoshopped (likely darkened) as witnessed in the haloing around the duck and unaltered areas along the grassy horizon, especially lower right. I only call attention to these details as feedback (not to be critical) because I believe digital enhancement should be seemless ... and this one is close. If I didn't spend so much time waist-deep in PS myself, I'd probably not be so particular. ;-) *7* |

Great White Egretby ArpeggioAngelComment: Very nicely done. Love how the blue backdrop brings out the white and orange. Excellent detail with little highlight clipping. And is that blood on the feathers near the back/underside of the beak? Ack! Well done. |

Photo Finishby tryals15Comment: LOL ... funny title. Left half has nice color, contrast and detail; right half is over exposed and flat (kidding of course). :-P |

The not so wild.by HawesPhotoKCComment: Great detail and lovely warm tones. The dodging on the snow is a bit much, and probably unnecessary since bright white snow would make for a wonderful contrast to the bird's golden feathers. |

SNATCHby whiteroomComment: Wildlife indeed! Nice capture, though a bit overprocessed for my taste. |

Big Horn Sheepby brens29Comment: Nice find. Cropping around 1/2 of the space right of the ram would go a long way (IMO) toward improving the composition of an otherwise well captured wildlife shot. |

Blue Heronby svt_gEEkComment: A bit soft to warrant a higher score and the centered composition really takes away from an otherwise nicely captured scene. Even a vertical (portrait) crop placing the Heron in the right 1/3 of the frame would really strengthen the composition. |
