STARE DOWNby taylorpageComment: I like it, just not crazy about the negative space combined with this particular crop ratio. |

Too Lateby Dmosier21Comment: Hehe, not a very good advertisement for an energy drink, is it? Like the dof, just wish his fingers weren't cut off. |

Leadershipby levyj413Comment: Good angle, good abstract story-telling. Looks a little synthetic though. You're probably thinking "Duh", right? lol, I just mean it looks chunky and unreal... plastic. Too smooth to be real photograph. Ugh, I'm not doing a very good job of explaining myself. Apologies for the incoherent babble. |

flowersby crimsontearseurekaComment: My first thought was that this was over-sharpened, but on closer examination, I see it's selection marks around the petals where you've masked out the background. Unfortunately, selections of any kind are not legal within the Basic Editing rule set and you may be disqualified from this challenge. Don't take it to heart though, keep entering!
By the way, if you're a paid member, this type of editing IS allowed but ONLY in challenges where Advanced Editing is used.
In any event, should you want to re-edit this for yourself, try using the magnetic lasso and set feathering to at least 10 to 20px to make the transition look smoother :) |

In Mid-Airby maxaz1Comment: Gosh, this must have been so frustrating to capture. You did a great job, just a couple of issues: needs more sharpening, and; could do with a light pass through some noise removal software. |

Still Cray-Cby tccComment: Title's cheesy but fun :) I really like the subject matter you chose to shoot, cool idea. There's a dark yellow cast over it all though, that spoils it a bit. Maybe play around with white balance/colour temps to make it more natural? |

Old Cue Ballby picksterComment: Great dof, just lifeless. Maybe some contrast boost to emphasise the long shadows and give it some colour? |

The Root of my Frustration by burke876Comment: Something about the exposure isn't right. Too much glare coming off the light reflections. Could do with a bit of sharpening too, the drops look soft to me. Still, great subject and perfect studies for challenges like these. |

Heaven's Teardropsby ksh_71Comment: Too much out of focus area in the foreground taking up so much space that it takes me ages to find the tiny part that is in focus. If I didn't take the time to actually look, I'd say the entire image was oof. Maybe crop in closer to the water drops for emphasis? |
