Can't say I understand the message, but that's ok. What I can say is I think the light is a bit flat, almost like it lacks contrast but not. Strange. Not sure about the angle either, there's no drama, no leading lines... it's kinda just "BAM, here are my fingers wrapped around a gun".

Love the soft focus, but the mid tones take over. Maybe push the contrast a bit for some deeper shadows and brighter highlights? Very nice submission to the challenge though.

Fun entry, but it suffers a fair bit from motion blur. You've lost some texture in the skin too and it almost looks like paper mache. Suggestion; try again with more light and a higher shutter speed :)

Great focus and interesting choice of body part. The level of light looks good, but what's bringing it down is the yellow/orange cast through it. Might be a matter of changing white balance or editing levels or hue&sat?
