Not bad. Would have gotten down a bit lower, but that is personally preferred.

This is a good Capture. In my oppinon you need somewhat of a flash fill for the foreground up to the Dear.

Does the subject grab attention? Yes

What is the subject? A backlit Cross

Sharpness: Bit Fuzzy

Is sharpness important to this photo? Yes

Exposer: Just a tad bit under.

Is this photo? Low Key lighting

Contrast: Flat

Color:
Do the colors look accurate? I think they are slightly off due to soft lighting.

Composition:
I key element in this shot is balanced. As I look at the photo my eyes are drawn to the subject.

Format: Does the Horizontal or verticle format fit the subject? Yes

Point of view:
I think that the point of view for this shot that you chose is the best way to view this photo. Might want to crop out the sides a little.

Overall this is a good photo. I think the stain glass adds a bit of fuzziness to the shot. I think a good soft softbox light would enhance the view and also would dramatically add to the boarders on the cross.

Does the subject grab your attention? Yes

Sharpness: Sharp

Is sharpness important? Yes

Exposure: I think the exposure is right.

Contrast: Contrast appears flat to me.

Color: The colors in my oppinion are very accurate.
It appears to be an overcast day and I think this shot was
taken at the right moment.

Composition:
Are the various elements of the photo well balanced within the frame?
I say Yes. Eyes are drawn correctly through the photo. Though the bridge can seem like a slight distraction, without it the picture is boring. You framed this shot well. If it fit the theme a little better in my oppinion you have a top 20 photo here. When I look at this shot I think more of the movie Jaws when Broadie told his son to take the boats and play in the lake or the Lagoon rather than the ocean.

Point of View: Personally I would have gotten down slightly. I think it is important to get some more water in the shot.Don't have to worry about getting the top of the rail in the shot. As long as you have the bridge you are fine.

Overall this is a great photo.

First I would like to say it looks very cold there.

Composition:
The overall shot is very pleasing to the eye. You did a wonderful job with the lines of this photograph. The eye goes right down the trail and not once did it loose itself in the overall picture. I believe the center of intrest is the trail itself. Looks very lonely and cold. (no footprints). As far as closeness is concerend I do not think I could have set this shot up better. I think the composition is perfect the way it is. My personal oppinion is that eye control elements are where they need to be.

Background:
Depth of Field is perfect. In a shot like this you want to be able to see the entire trail unless of course you wanted to give a sense of a lost feeling to the viewer. The clear sky in this shot also adds to the "Wow it is cold feeling."

My Oppinion:
As I said earlier, I do not think there is anything I would have done to change this shot. This is the kind of shot I would hang on my wall in my winter house in Colorado if I had one. Overall very pleasing and wonderfully executed. Had I voted in this challenge this would have gotten no less than a 9. Keep up the good work and Bravo.:-)
