Revolution , NOW !by fanfuineComment: OK, I like the overall feel of this shot. The youthful arm holding the gun makes me think of 3rd world countries in which children take up arms against their enemies. That being said, I think there is some slight motion blur on the gun, and the red tone seems to overpowering to the message. Perhaps a true black and white conversion would provide the added grit to send the message home. 7 -danny |

Our Children's Heroes?by jpb323redComment: Interesting concept. The image seems oversaturated, and is too small. When saving for the web, save the image at 72 dpi and 640 pixel on the longest side. This will give your viewer a larger image so that they can make out the details in your shot. 4 -danny |

Message in the Bottle>>>STOP Cruel Science!by fisheyeComment: You did well with a difficult lighting situation. Only offering I have is to try and shoot the light through something to diffuse/spread the light out more. This will minimize the hot spot on the glass. Also, having some light on the table doesn't hurt, it keeps the bottle from looking like it is floating. 6 -danny |

knifesby tolovemoonComment: I can see that you are attempting to better your studio shot skills. Few things. When using a single light you get hard shadows. Try a fill light on the right, or a white reflective surface to fill in the hard shadow. If your camera has a manual white balance setting, you need to learn how to use it, or set the white balance for incandesent lighting. You're yellow tone is a result of improper white balance. Your image is also rather small for viewing on the web. Save at 72 dpi with the longest side being 640 pixels. This will give the viewer a better chance to make out the details on the handles. Lastly, your presentation is not too exciting. Try picking just 3 of the most interesting knifes and organize them in a different way so as to bring out the most from each of them. Also, get in closer to your subjects, providing your camera allows for a closer in focus. 4 -danny |

Wilderness: Worth Preserving!by dsidwellComment: Very nice postcard shot. I like the repetitive angle used with the tree line and the mountain ridge line. Not sure the propaganda angle on it. 7 -danny |

Recent Propagandaby browntComment: :-) I've seen these all over the place for sale. I even know someone who bought some. This does capture the capitalistic aspect of war. 6 -danny |

Red Ribbon Week at Celine High Schoolby Glen KingComment: If you wait until dusk, and get your camera angle lower, you could have really made a WOW shot. This image, is a snap shot of you standing in front of the school. Don't be afraid to try new things. 5 -danny |
