Ordinary Peopleby garlicComment: I like your posing done here. Nice layers. I would have cropped out the far right myself. Otherwise it's very well done. |

Feeding the Birds at Sunsetby mirdonamyComment: I just resized my browser so I could scroll the image and crop out the boy from the shot. When I did this, it may the image much stronger by removing the clutter on the left side of the frame. Cropping is an important tool. Removing elements that don't add to the shot will usually make a stronger presentation. |

Boots on paradeby KiwiChrisComment: Does the color add to this shot? I think a nice contrasty b/w tone would work well. When working with a high sun like this, and monotone tones, a b/w treatment can usually add to the emotive quality of shots like this. |

Listen To My Storiesby TDCollinsComment: I think the pose and background work nicely, what I think would make this even stronger is a sepia or black and white conversion. The colors don't really add the punch it needs. |

sisterby aplomb76Comment: Sharp eyes, but the extreme zoom, with black backdrop doesn't show enough personality of your subject. You also have a slight blue tint to your b/w conversion. It's always good to see the smile in the models eyes as well as with their mouth. |

Think about itby heidaComment: Noise reduction to the rescue. Noise isn't the enemy, sometimes it can add some great mood to the shot. I think in this shot, it wouldn't have distracted at all. The toning adds nicely to the cool feel of the shot. The models expression and eyes add a playful feel to your image. Nicely done. |

Finding comfort and securityby lawlessComment: A tender moment shared between dad and daughter. I think that the centered composition may make this shot weaker than if you had cropped off some of the left side. I think the left side doesn't add to the shot, and by cropping in closer you'd be adding viewer interest to the shot. |

"Let's Win One for the Gipper"by bre53Comment: What's great about this shot, is the fact that you look at each player and they are all doing their own thing. I love shots where I can look at it and connect with the people in it. From the kid with the water bottle in his mouth, to the kid playing with dirt in his hands on the left, each reminds me of kids I use to coach. Nice shot. |

Wanna cigarette, sir?by DibutilComment: Hrm... you cut off the closest person, the lady pointing into her bag looks angry with you. The b/w treatment seems to be trying to rescue a snapshot and make it feel more photojournalistic. Overall the shot seems to meet the challenge, but lack in viewer appeal. |

Child Supportby casualguyComment: Why do we not see their faces? And, if you choose to not show their faces, why not include what they're looking at so we have some added interest in the shot? As it stands this is a lack luster shot with no added interst to pull the viewer in. Add something that brings the viewer into the shot and connect with it. |
