Nice idea, needs an additional element like holding a small globe, and more DOF would be better. Nice duotone choice, but overall image feels too dark - please consider adjustment to brighter levels.

Nice idea - how about expanding to "A is for Apple" with hand vertical and fingers closer to sign language "A?" Nice duotone choice, but overall image feels too midtone - please consider adjustment to brighter levels.

Great idea. Chalk leaves an overall dusty, blurry, muted feel, try bumping up saturation to give a color pop to compensate.

Nice idea. Overall image is too low key, more illumination would be better. Consider raising the candle to put more light on the pages, and expose for the hands. Bump up the white level in PS.

Nice idea. Nice sharpness, DOF, and composition. Hand is intentionally in-your-face, but it's a little too dominant and annoying for longer viewing.
