Nice arrangement and framing. Might be better with enough DOF to put the first TWO candles in focus, maybe also higher ISO to stop the flame.

Lighting, door, person, cap, knife, angles, B&W all contribute to the dramatic effect - very well "executed".

Interesting blue vs read colors. Focus on head would be better, and somehow frame head toward the left half so subject is looking through the center.

The chair is interesting, but while I want to connect the foil, I'm still confused. Maybe shape the foil into something more recognizable or suggestive.

Kermit would benefit from better position, focus, and lighting angle, maybe try moving him significantly further to the left and angled a little more toward the candle

The door, lighting, and angles all make the shot. Maybe cropping for less expanse of black would help. Did you try a single border?
