The selective desat works, but would have preferred to see more of mom's face. It seems a little cheezy and staged for my taste, but still in the top 1/3rd of the challenge for me. Good job with DOF and keeping the background nice and white.

Any photo that makes me laugh out loud gets a top ranking from me. This is just so true, the characters are SO expressive, it's just top notch. My only question is if the sepia actually adds anything to the picture... it might look better as a pure B&W or in color.

I do like the (almost) square format of this photo, combined with the B&W it reminds me of the good old medium format days. The only improvement I could think of would be to have wiped off the baby's mouth first. :) Great job.
