Another great black and white portrait. Very effective use of B&W. A solid photo that would be great in any exhibition of urban life.

I'm as tired as everyone else of the boring old cliche flag shots.

This IS NOT one of them.

This is a GREAT image. It portrays a feeling of history. This flag has been somewhere, and it has a story to tell. Maybe to Iraq, maybe from years of being hiked in and out of boy scout campgrounds. I don't know, but I'd love to find out.

Great lighting, great composition. Just great. I love it.

The sky is so bold it looks like a painting. The various hues of the earth(?) are captivating. The other photogs provide a touch of humanity and even humor. This shot has it all. Great job.

I've learned from this challenge that gorrilla/ape shots are almost always great because they give such human-like expressions and poses, that the personification is so easy to see, making for a pleasing (and usually humorous) image 9 times out of 10. Yours is no exception. Great capture. :)

A great high contrast black and white portrait. Very effective use of both shadow and negative space.

Nice and pleasing colors. The interesting sand or rock (or whatever they are!) formations in the foreground give interest to what would otherwise be a much more boring sunset shot. Good composition.

There's something about the enormity of scale of the person, in comparison to the wall. It's a simple statement, but it's very powerful. Great capture.

Great colors and plenty of Pop. In an average challenge that might have been enough. I predict that you'll do pretty well, but this is a tough field. Good job.

I know what you were going for here, but it's just too blown out. When you go for these high key shots you have to be careful not to blow out the detais, which you did.
