Wally and his doppelgangerby redmoonComment: I was hoping for one of these; I tried to talk a friend into climbing on top of a building, but he wasn't going for it. Here, the choices are great. Two people, the lines from the block of the buildings, and nice earth tones against the sky. I wonder how this would look in B&W? I might have tried some different crops, as well (maybe moving the block lower and to the left; maybe), but for me it's strong as is, too. 8. |

Camouflaged Escapeby neophyteComment: Great use of the painting to "hide" "Waldo". Composition here is maybe a bit too influenced by the challenge (bringing Waldo into the frame a bit more would strengthen it to my eye), but works nicely as is. Nicely seen and shot. |

Behind Broken Glassby PhotoTessComment: Good concept for the challenge, and well executed. The processing fits perfectly, and I'm just waiting for "Waldo" to jump out and yell, "Surprise!! Here I am!!!" Good feel and composition throughout. 8. |

Waldo in the Lost Worldby MichaelCComment: Such a great feel to this image, so perfectly processed, with delightful tones used on the subdued lighting. Such even lighting gives it a surreal look, as you've said, like a lost world. Excellent subject and well captured and presented image. 8. |

Stuck in the potting shed!by drydocComment: A generally nice shot made special by the challenge (many here went the opposite direction, being good shots in spite of the challenge); here this works for me because I'm looking for Waldo, and when I found him/her, I laughed out loud. Perfect impact for the image and the challenge. 8. |

Skywalk IIby StrikeslipComment: Overwhelming. That's my reaction to this shot. From the angle (which I love) to the tightly compressed range of shades, all silvery looking. Waldo's there, but it's about the lines, the curves, the metal and the glass. Delightful shot. 8. |

Personal Reflectionby jeroweComment: Waldo's not too important here for me; this image stands on its own. The light star bursts add a really special element to this image, driving the eye down the ally. What's there, what's coming, or what's leaving? Why is Waldo just standing there? Questions questions . . . nicely shot and processed image, with strong composition, coloring and lighting. 8. |

Look closerby BrinComment: I didn't need to look closer (Waldo was pretty easy to see), but I don't mind that; what's important to me is the image itself, which is very strong. I want to find that place, with those clouds, and those hills. Are there dragons hiding nearby, or is it just a peaceful place to visit. Gets my imagination going. Well done. 8. |

How not to be seenby awpollardComment: "Mr Nesbit, would you stand up please." Wonderful caption, and more importantly, wonderful image. The windows reflecting not an image but tones and shades, and the deep blue throughout . . . just perfect. I might have (emphasize might) taken a tad bit more off the left side, but as is it's a very strong, appealing image. Bumping up to 9. |

Beneath Titan(s)by h2Comment: What a great image; makes me want to go there, and wander around (looking for Waldo, perhaps?); great use of color here as the buildings reflect the blue sky (or are they blue themselves), and the angles and lines just keep bringing me back to see them again. Nicely seen and shot. 8. |
