Definitely strong composition and wonderful shot/processing in presenting it. I'm not a huge fan of silhouette shots, but here it works (if I look closely I can see a bit of the bird's eye, which makes it perfect for me).

Great image. I miss seeing your shots, and am so glad you finished this challenge so I could see some more. Such a perfect choice in seeing and shooting this. Lovely composition, too.

Cool how the sun makes the leaf look so soft and fuzzy. I agree with Becky, if there's a way to get rid of the dark patch at the bottom (though as it crosses the leaf I have no idea how) it would make it stronger to my eyes.

Great textures here, and wonderful abstract look to this. DoF adds additional interest, as do the clear lines.

Delightful lighting, and wonderful use of DoF to drive the viewer's eye to the important bits (the eyes, nose and whiskers). Great tones, too, with a soft contrast look that fits well with the subject. Nice kitty.

Nice shot, the pine cones really complement the basket (or the other wawy around) in both lighting and tones. Was a pleasure to see your shots this month, I'll be on the lookout for them in the future.

I wasn't sure how interesting it would be to see macros and setups of a dollar bill for a whole month, but I must admit I poked around in your portfolio to see what you'd done the days I missed watching the thread. Excellent stuff, and on the whole somewhat of a testament to those who are money obsessed. Those who have a "money fetish" (referring to an unhealthy desire to have money, ie, greed) might just buy the whole set to hang on their walls (except for this last one, of course). Well done!

Delightful image. Wow. The processing suits it perfectly, making it look painted (but by a painter with double vision, perhaps). The way the child looks so tentative really adds to the feel, and gives it something extra, something special. Glad you didn't delete this one.

You want reactions, right? Here goes: First thing I saw here, and reacted to, was a ghostly face with a horn. The right pectoral muscle (left as you look at it) is an eye, with the brighter spot toward his stomach is part of the nose. The other eye is in shadow (though you can still see a bit of it), and a horn goes off to the left of the image. If you scroll down so that the top of the image as you see it starts where the really bright spot is on his left shoulder, then maybe someone else will see what I see . . .

Other than my weird sight, I love the image; dynamic, wonderful range of tones and shadows that make it something I just keep looking at. Awesome.

Perfect last day image; cleaning up after the party. I love the tones here, and the composition is really strong, with the lines complimenting each other perfectly. The lighting is lovely, and the colors are great. I am distracted by the noise on the wall, but not sure how well noise removers (noise ninja or neat image) would have worked on that. Thanks for joining in, Kari, I love seeing your work!
