Achillesby hitmanrrComment: The whole left hand side of the picture is superfluous, and is much stronger without it. In fact the bottom right 1/4 of the pic (the shoes and shadow) are all that's needed. |

Has someone seen my right shoe????by SinisterComment: There's no effort to make the shoe seem lost that's evident. Placing the shoe under/behind a rock and dominating the focus and foreground, while someone fumbles about under blankets or something in the background would have been more effective |

at the danceby MarkComment: There's so much more potential with the shot by actually getting in there and capturing the shoes while they're being worn and danced in. |

shoes too...by LoulouNoireComment: Terrible composition by cropping the main subject. Think of it as being similar to cropping someones forehead out of a picture. If only for that, the DOF would have really pulled this shot up. But unfortunately that's so off putting. |

Odor-Eaters???by NaldComment: Hahahahahaha, brillant. Excellent dark shot picking out just enough detail in the boots, and I love the idea and execution of the long exposure odour trails. Well balced and effective composition. |

Mix Matchby kylhComment: Cropped too tightly, losing a lot of the charm of the splayed pose. A more colourful background may have suited the theme too. |

all the rage ....by ursulaComment: Hehe, charming wit. Apt pose, but maybe the awkardness of the subject might have been better expressed by setting them further from the viewer, and less 'in your face' and umm, confrontational. |

Memento Moriby mannjuditComment: Wow, how did you get the unearthly glowing effect in the sky? I also like how this shot left me puzzling, and therefore required me to go and find out the cultural references and meaning of the title. Pity you put a great lump of iron post right in shot though. |
