lines of shoes...pre practice stretchby petrakkaComment: The composition works well for a sports shot, but it's a line of footballers if we're honest and not a lins of shoes. Doesn't fit the brief. Could have changed your viewpoint slightly by getting down and just catching the 'line of shoes' you mention in the frame, and nothing else. |

Cleatsby mattmungerComment: Very underexposed or dark. The composition doesn't seem to be imparting anything to me about these shoes. |

Da Funky Shoesby ShaneBlakeComment: Hehe, the second one of these stinky shoe pics I've seen. Very well done. Maybe the shoes are a bit underexposed and could be filled in with a flash or something, but very good nonetheless. |

1600ft. up; 600ft. to goby aaronb532Comment: Another case of anthropomorphism which makes the shot seem (like the other examples) far too contrived and forced. If you had been making some comment about a lost shoe maybe or something this may have worked. |

Baring Bert's Soleby arlanbartComment: Not close enough to get an abstract type textural picture, and too close to take advantage of evoking the era that the shoes portray, ie: 1940's Casablanca type shot. |

AAAAAAAAA!!!!!by larscComment: Hehe, funny! Has buckets of potential to be a winner.
Would be better with a different set-up so you get the shoe in focus as well, since it is suppossed to be in the same plane as the girl. Maybe taking the shot with the shoe closer to the girl, and then cropping the image down later. Not sure if you have access to different lenses, you might try a wide-angle for greater DOF, or maybe a smaller aperture might possibly do the trick. The lighting between both is also inconsistent. |

kitten heels!by parrotheadComment: The choice of black shoe against a black background, practically removes the shoes from the subject, making the kitten entirely the focus of this this shot. |

Disembodiedby typologicComment: Elegant weight of line and beautiful composition. A clever idea well executed. |

Its Miller Time!by ltaylorComment: Very nice use of lighting, picking out just the right amount of detail on the subjects. |
