pimp shoesby amandalComment: A nicely composed shot. You could have forced the camera to overexpose the shot maybe one fstop to bring the white back to the brillance that the camera has lost. Cameras will always make predominantly white compositions slightly underexposed. The background could have been all white to add to this 'clean' effect, and I think you could have chosen a better title also, since 'pimp shoes' they clearly are not. |

Stilettos (Too Sharp)by QartComment: I like the idea, but feel it would make a lot more sense for the heel to be placed over the centre of the break on the mirror. You could have adjusted the lighting to remove the strange shadows on the feet and legs also. |

life's little remindersby ThroughTheLensComment: The focus on the shoes isn't sharp enough and the telegraph pole is distracting. A portrait shot would have accentuated the space below the shoes. I'd also like to see the point on the wire where the laces and wire meet included in shot. |

Legs crossed!!by sangeethComment: But they're not legs, they're shoes. Why didn't you take a picture of some legs crossed wearing those shoes? It would have made more sense than a pair of floating shoes. The floral curtain is also fighting for too much attention and should be either plain, or further from the subject so it's less in focus. |

All Stars in Pinkby vtruanComment: Cute picture. I like the pose, but it makes me want to see (even a small indication of) how they're hanging in mid-air. Is it sitting on a swing or a tyre hanging from a tree? If this is not possible then a plain background might have worked better, perhaps a complementary colour to the bright pink and make colour the whole theme. It's also slightly underexposed losing the summery essence of the pink boots. Got potential. |

casualby shotComment: The trainers should really have been a different colour say red, because they are lost in the similar colours and shapes of the wall graffitti. It makes the jeans look like they're the subject instead. |

We're Not In Kansas Anymoreby mesmerajComment: Well done mesmeraj, another excellent shot with those red shoes. Excellent use of negative space to accentuate the pose, and it (the pose) creates a very elegant shape too. Brillant illustration of the idiom "less is more". The stark white also adds to the dream-like effect you would associate with a fantastical story like wizard of oz. |
