my shoesby arnarComment: Too dark, and the horizon bang on centre could move. |

Beauty and the beach ..by samanwarComment: The composition and focus could move down and pick the shoes out better, maybe a shortter DOF. They're taking a back seat here, especially considering the striking pose of the little girl. |

On the wheelsby oksamitComment: A shot with the camera following the rollerblades and keeps them sharp while blurring the background would have been much more suitable for expressing their personality. The crop is too tight also. |

Immortalizedby CalliopeKelComment: I like the lighting and the texture of the metal is well done, however I'm not so keen on the choice of cropping, leaving the space on the right. |

Hail to Shoes' Little Helperby johnnyComment: If the shoe horn is all you want to show us, then why even include the wall? Go for the full on effect of that curve and move the horn away so the wall is out of shot. Despite all this, it's link to the challenge is just far too tenuous especially if you don't have the title to tell you what it is. |

Shiney New Shoesby RistyzComment: A nice study of the hands, but the protractor (or whatever it's called) is dominating the focus of the image. A different angle where the classic horseshoe shape is dominating the shot would have been more suitable to this particular challenge. |

Ant's Nightmareby owenComment: Great idea, and brillant use of DOF, but I feel a fisheye lens would have been the correct lens to achieve this shots full potential, since the image is a little too reliant on the title for it's strength. 8 |

Chuck Taylorsby ArpeggioAngelComment: I feel like I'm looking at a tv with the wrong aspect ratio setting here, and it's uncomfortable. If this was resolved I would really like this study. Its a good composition and use of the line of the sole. |
