The fact that she's turned away from the tombstone really adds to the effect, even if it may be done so we can read the tombstone. It's as if she can't handle what happened, or perhaps she doesn't want her mother (or whoever) to "see" her cry. The tears look real.

I give you a lot of credit for taking a chance and making a statement. I actually expected more of a bimodal distribution - mostly 1 or 10 votes.

I interpreted it as meaning that some of us have pride in our country, and will blindly follow, even if we use our powerful military and arrogance to bully other nations.

Perhaps you can give some insight into what you meant?
