I really liked the colors and tones of this. I thought the composition and the overall sharpness were very good too. But I think the main reason I only voted this a six was the shadow/darkness on the left side didn't look quite natural to me.

The photos that really did well in this challenge really emphasized the texture with bright highlights and dark shadows. This photo with the backlighting doesn't emphasize the great texture of your subject. I don't think it's a bad photo, I think it just didn't move people to vote it at the next level. The voting breakdown pretty much proves that by the lack of super low and super high votes.

I really like the in your face composition of this desert jewel. The light and shadow seems a little harsh and maybe even a tad oversautrated for my tastes.

There's a beauty that deserves a resurection. I like how you composed the car in such a way as to create leading lines. With all that rust and texture this would look great in the warmer light of early morning or late afternoon. Very nice!
