Just Another Sunsetby lisaeComment: Wow... I was really confused for a minute. The clouds at the top look just like waves coming in... I love the golden colours and the blackness, contrast etc. I wish the bird wasn't there though. It's not attacted to the ground, whereas everything else is. |

Cliclowerby redfigComment: It might seem like a little thing, but I really like how you pulled the green into your boarder. |

When Roses Are Not In Bloomby Ricky CleaveComment: Just pointing out that the boarder is wider on the top and left. This may have been intentional on your part, but just thought I'd mention. I like this photo; the star shape is a striking image, and the red is excellent. |

Decaying Beautyby stephanComment: I really like this photo. Great colours, excellent use of lighting. The only gripe I have is that there is too much black. I would have liked a closer crop (although not a tight one) perhaps a perfect square, and a boarder definately could have added to the presentation of this this photo. But excellent job! |

The beginning of spring.by WILDBLUEComment: I have alot to say about this photo. I love the colour, and the focus is great. I would have cropped this photo a little differently however, and (hopefully you don't mind, and if you do, please say so and I will delete it all immediately) I saved this photo on my comp and cropped it as an example to show you what I mean.

I think I took too much off the bottom, but you get the idea. It remove all the flaws of the flower (ragged edges and brown spots etc) and there is no background to distract the eye. So perhaps playing with the crops next time would yeild interesting results. (I can also see this as a tall thin shot with the center of the flower at the top).
Best of luck in the future! |
