New Mexico Sunsetby vtruanComment: Had you cropped out more of the top portion of your photo, it would have a greater high contrast impact for me. Also, perhaps a little bit more of the land, but you captured a really spectacular sunset. |

'fire tree'by suemackComment: For me, while a good contrast of sky and fire tree, I wonder if this would have a greater impact had the bottom branch been cropped out a bit more. There's a nice crispness to your shot. |

Contrasting Colorsby trobergeComment: The flower colors really do pop out at me. The green tones lessen that contrast a bit as does the border you chose, but nice composition. |

Bellezza e Luceby Keith ManiacComment: A very nice portrait and good high contrast for me. Nice composition and framing where your model reminds me of a bust-type sculpture. |

Black and Whiteby hstegComment: I really like the graphic image you've created. Simple, clean and definitely high contrast. One of my favorites of the challenge. 10! |

seed podsby U622Comment: For me, while there is contrast the seed pods now appear almost...metallic and overly done in a photo editing program. I do like the offset composition however. |

Flying Homeby CantiqueComment: Wow - that bright foreground jumped right out at me...and I had trouble looking at the rest of the photo, which for me is more interesting. I wonder how this would look if that area was cropped down a bit more? |

The Valley Beyondby WarbyComment: I like the subject matter, but I find that one large, dark rock in the foreground distracting from the rest of the photo. Cool use of filters and special photo imaging effects though. |

High contrast Eyeby jellyooooComment: For me, while there is some contrast, the gray values of the model are very similar and not dramatic as compared to others in this challenge. Again for me, the white is almost overpowering, but I do like your composition. |
