A Night of Footballby swm4lfe_2001Comment: I think I see th use of a wide angle here, but with the limited photo details, I feel that I'm not left with a lot too look at. My eye seems to alwayssettle on the bright light on the right, which I don't think was your intention. |

River Danceby RayEthierComment: The wide angle is evident. The foreground use adds soe depth for the wide angle to hold on to. A couple of things about the photo trouble me. It feels like there is too much noise in the image, especially in the blues of the sky and the reflection. Also, the grasses look a little oversharpened. If I'm wrong on my assessment of the USM, please forgive me, it just feels like the foreground colours and whites give the sense of too much sharpening. JMO. |

The Rotundaby CutterComment: This shot is excellent. Very good composition. Great colours. I like how the lighting works from dark at the bottom to bright at the top ... it seems to invite the eye from bottom up. This adds to the height the wide angle provides. Good work. |

Autumn at the coastby tazzaComment: A good scenic shot. I like the "I can see for miles" feeling that the wide angle has presented. Good work!! |

Howling Birchby StrikeslipComment: Slippy, Congrats on the high finish with this shot. I read the story about the shot and Mr. Dickeboom. In Dutch, the words Dikke Boom translates to Thick Tree!! |

Autumn Reflectionsby NeilComment: Very cool concept. I like the flow of this and how the tree trunk acts as a leading line to draw the eye into the abrstact. Being an abstract, I think you could have saturated the colours more to give the abstract more vibrancy and maybe, as a result, a reason to linger even longer on this good abstract. Overall, well done. |

Contemplationby NunoComment: A nice shot with a good overall composition. The wide angle gives a nice long view to the bridge. I would have liked to have seen a little more definition to the clouds. Not sure if a grad ND might have helped to give a little more details or not. JMO. |

Alkaliby bruskiComment: Nice composition. The shore line works well as a leading line to guide the eye into the photo. Nice depth to the photo. |

Mooringsby aboutimageComment: The wide angle usage is evident. The shot is nice, but I was wondering if you tried other perspectives of this shot, such as a different placement of the horizon or even placing the cmera really close to the ground and offering a little more foreground. Just curious. |
