chimney pots 2.jpgby xtineComment: I love the look of these little chimney pots all lined up in a row with their different shapes and sizes and their lovely earthy colors against the backdrop of stark white...Like a whimsical sculpture. |

by messerschmittComment: Nicely observed! I love the bold graphic look of this and the way that the repeated patterns of lines and curves play off of one another. Nicely composed as well. I like that you have the van centered near the top. The leading lines of the pavers sweep our eyes across the image and lend it a very effective dynamic quality. |

Hostageby JutildaComment: Whoa! Just saw this and it made me stop short in my tracks. Even though this is set up, it still comes across as extremely emotive. I think that the tones and lighting are just perfect. The darkness enhances the palpable sense of fear that you've created without overwhelming any of the details. Your score deserved to be much higher, but this is the kind of image that is going to pull people in different directions based on their own particular sensitivities. I didn't vote, but I would have been inclined to score this a 9 or 10. |

The Pitby SherwinJamesComment: I love how this image is recognizable for what it is, but also has an almost abstract quality that stimulates the imagination. The inspired point-of-view packs a lot of visual punch! Adding to favorites! |

Intermezzoby yankoComment: You have a real flair for dramatic skies! This has so much visual impact, especially with the graphic sillhouette at the bottom. Adding to favorites! |

Monolithby yankoComment: Love the drama that you captured through perspective and enhanced with excellent post processing. I agree with you about the reflection on the building. I kind of like it there too...I think that it adds an interesting visual dimension to the image. |

profile.jpgby xtineComment: Beautiful solemn tones enhance the emotive quality of this lovely portrait. The girl reminds me of my own daughter who is eleven. It's a wonderful age at which to capture something...just on the verge.
I've enjoyed looking through your portfolio, Christine. There are many, many lovely images. |
