Splash of Sunby KivetComment: Love the cloud shadows and sun bands across the ground in this one. The clouds are a little blown out in spots though. If your post processing software allows for it, you might want to try masking the sky and playing with the brightness, contrast and levels to even out those spots. |

AICHMOPHOBIA — Fear of Needlesby Bear_MusicComment: You and my daughter have something in common, just talking about needles makes her start to twitch. Great job on conquering your fear enough to be able to take this awesome shot! |

Pioneerby linda12201Comment: more in keeping with the name, probably would have been better to not have the fence in the backgroung |

The Candle's in the Bag (Luminaria)by RistyzComment: What a beautiful shot! I love the way you have the candle lines leading the eye into the shot and the dark of the hillside balancing the brightness of the path. |

Candlelit Christmas Cardby linda12201Comment: Nice clear focus and beautiful colours. Too much going on, IMO. Perhaps removing one or both of the Christmas balls would give a clearer focal point. The red candle on the right also has a distracting lean to it that a slight rotation of the shot may have helped. |

White Christmasby garlicComment: Interesting concept, difficult to pull off. The black wicks of the burning candles draw your eye even though it is difficult to see the flame against the white background. I think you meant the candles to represent an advent wreath so I hope I understood part of what you were trying to portray. |

red wine by candlelightby enashComment: I like the blur/halo around the wine glass, it gives it an added dimension. I don't like the blur around the candles though, it just doesn't appeal to may taste. |

Quoth The Ravenby donnievComment: Good idea and composition. I feel that a more subdued lighting with more shadows would have been more effective to convey the atmosphere of "The Raven". Perhaps you could try adjusting the contrat level or using curves to increase the contrasts to make the shadows pop. |
