Wow! What a great photo. I'm dying to find out how you achieved this. If I could offer a slight critisms (and I mean slight) there is a bit of a halo around the hand face that may have been worth removing after achieving such a wonderful and impressive shot. Well done!

Looking at their faces I can see that they are indeed looking forward for the photo to be taken to get on with what they really want to do so in my opion this meets the challenge.

However, I would like to offer some suggestions to how I believe the photo could have been improved - at least if I was the one taking it. A less distracting background would be nice but you can't always choose the background when getting the shot. I would try and avoid having the subject centered and would have cropped out the right hand side to remove the distracting red object at the bottom corner. The colours and skin tones appears over saturated for my tastes. Good luck with your entry.

I don't get it! (Not the photo but the scoring - 17 votes below 5!!). I gave you an 8 though I had a slight concern that the heart may had been placed there by bending the editing rules but didn't want to vote without objective evidence, which is what I suspect some may have done.

Thanks for the details on how the shot was made and the effort gone too. Excellent photo! You were robbed of a front page IMHO.

Wow! One of the better lightning captures I've seen for some time. I like the tower as an added subject point as well. Pity it's a little over exposed but that would be pretty hard to control with this kind of shot. Well done

The eye looks so sad. Very nice photo and the b&w works well. Something funny is happening around the mouth (on my laptop monitor) that may have been the result of some post processing. Good luck.

Very nice photo! I would have liked the camera closure to the shore to better include some of that powerful wave action in the background. However, the rock features and pools are really interesting.
