Reflection of a ghost!by FocusPointComment: This was my pick of the challenge. I could only find one shot close to this and gave you a 9. I'm surprised it finished so low. |

Aotearoa - Land of the long white cloudby michelRComment: Lovely photo that sacrafices the normal subject to emphasise the clouds. Well done. 7.
A few hours ago the second blast occured at the mine and assuming you're a New Zealander, my heart goes out to your country. The loss of the 29 miners is a tragedy that is felt here in Australia as I'm sure around the world. |

Just another day at the office by Yo_SpiffComment: Absolutely brilliant Steve! Congrats on a very well deserved blue. You took a good shot that I would have given a 5 or 6 for and through your PP skills produced a shot that I gave and 8 for. You must feel pretty good getting the Blue on a challenge you suggested. Well done! |

Veteran Reflectionsby The EskimoComment: This is a nice shot that meets the challenge and is getting a 6 from me. However, if this was entered in the other challenge (Reflections Without Mirrors V) I would have given this a 7. But that would have been me. I wouldn't be surprised if you were torn between which challenge to enter. I tell you what, you have taken a shot that easily meets both challenges and have shown that with your title and I'm voting this for it's uniqueness and raising to an 8. |

1 out of 21by evanescenteComment: I usually reserve my high scores for a great capture of many elements important to photography or for an artistic appeal that moves me. However, this gets a 9 for capturing a great shot on the first firing (unless I find out that this was the 29th time they were doing the 21 gun solute ;-) ) Only question, where's the projectile? Sorry, bad joke. |

SAM on alert as evening falls, somewhere in the desert...by CoryComment: SAM... wasn't that the same name as the sheep dog that protected the flock from the wolf in a popular cartoon many moons ago? But I'm showing my age though it still shows something formable out there protecting it's flock.
Nice sharp focus on the weapon without loosing too much detail on the background - but enough to make your subject pop. The photo on a whole tells an interesting story that I don't know but can imagine. Overall, I quite like this - 7. |
