On the edge by Yo_SpiffComment: Congratulations Steve on a well deserved ribbon.
I have a confession to make. I submitted a ticket on your image as I suspected a rule violation (probably my third or fourth ever) as the aspect ratio seemed to be different from most entries and the bricks seemed to be very level if it was captured by hand. I suspected a rotation and crop was achieved. Glad to see this wasnât the case and it was just very well taken. Well done!
Oh, by the way, I gave this an 8 and my second highest vote for the challenge.

Jobu by SEGComment: Well done! This was my highest vote given during the challenge. I wonder if this achieved of receiving the brown to a ribbon in two challenges has ever happened before? |

kissed by the sunsetby Eagle40Fox2Comment: A really beautiful image with wonderful colours. I especially like the shallow DoF and soft focus. But itâs the lighting that really makes this a pleasure to view. Well done and good luck! |

Beaufort Sunset looking away,by JarHeadComment: This definitely meets the challenge and I do like the fauna on the right and tint in the clouds. However, compared to other entryâs this seems to just miss. The location is great and I do like the ducks when you look for them. Good luck. |

After a Desert Stormby lkn4truthComment: For a split second I thought âoh no, another missed focus shotâ. That was until I saw that sky. Wow! That is fantastic and Iâm glad you decided to focus on that. The gold on the sign is just an added bonus for one of the best dramatic sky shots Iâve seen for a while â well since my own similar image a few months ago titled âA photog's dream of 'Nice Weather'â. Actually, I prefer yours. Well done! |

Lingering Fog at Daybreakby hahn23Comment: This is a really beautiful shot that nails the challenge. Iâd love to be in a place with such grandeur, but then, Iâm not sure I would be overly keen to venture out when it appears so cold. But then again, yes I would for a shot like this. Well done! |

Chasing the Storm Away...by NikonJebComment: There is no better way to show you have nailed the challenge than with a rainbow (a double at that) and a well lit ground and dark, menacing sky. However, itâs hard to get past the lean to the left which is quite distracting. The point I would have taken off for that is regained by the black bird that completes your image nicely. Good luck. |

Mansiby bnileshComment: Her eyes are incredible but for me itâs her smile that makes the image. It is difficult to be certain that this was taken with a low sun light but for me I believe that such wonderful lighting was captured during the golden hour. Well done! |
