Hatcher Pass in Aprilby ShutterPugComment: Nice image - once you take the time and study it to see the detail, unfortunately I doubt many will during voting in the Challenge. I'm sure the detail is much more discernible larger in this b&w. Nice frame/framing. |

Rickenbacker 360/12C63by LN13Comment: Nice colors and oof effect created on the metal strings and guitar itself. Compositionally, needs some adjusting for overall balance, in my opinion. |

Angel Fireby shutterflyComment: 8 - Very good, the effect has worked very well. Difficult, just wish the jets had the same pop that the smoke does, but I realize a lot is lost at this size. Unique image. |

John Wayne´s official retirementby StructorComment: Well I'm a little stumped - bit like this house should be. Very good image, but.. maybe I need a lesson in Sepia. If so, I apologize. If not, I stand by my lonely little score. |

Yeah I thought in Hindu the more arms the merrier. :P |
I did indeed consider the befitting connection with a Hindu Goddess such as Mahadevi, Durga, Saraswati, Sri Lakshmi, Parvati, Kali, Mahavidya and Navadurga or even Sita, Radha, Matrikas and Shakti Peeths.
Alas I didn't have time to look up their names during voting.
I was however going to 'suggest' that it would have made a good and (maybe) unique image with more of the arms included. The nice smiling face, nice warm tones, coupled with the range of 'dots' (nice ones), created a nice image. 'Nice'. |

My Guysby sfmorrisComment: Very nice portrait, especially of the horse - he looks like he is almost posing... you've captured the chemistry very well between these two 'guys'. Up to 9, from 8 - really like this. Can't help but wonder about a little more depth with the tones though, but difficult in basic, I know. I'll hazard a guess this will be treasured forever. |

Reposeby MichaelCComment: Snap. Her hat appears to be on back-to-front. The pose of the fingers looks a little strange, unless she is playing with her hair. I wonder whether a variation in cropping may have given this more of an edge. Perhaps also slightly stronger / more dramatic tones - just my opinion on the image. Might look exactly as you wished it. Quite nice with just the eyelashes under the brim of the hat. |

Cottonwood Funby vtruanComment: I nearly missed the tree hugger - saw your title and wondered what the fun was - the passer by? - the station? - ohh, there. Perhaps a variation in cropping to bring the subject (based on your title) into play more, however the color of the clothing on the 'little one' (compared to the tree) isn't allowing much contrast with this tone - but maybe with a tighter crop, who knows. |
