Froggerby annahComment: 8 - Very good. Focus looks spot on and nice clarity. Good composition. Criticism; not much, mainly the 'chopped foot'. Perhaps a slightly wider/larger DOF to incorporate the 'mouth', but obviously lens dependent. |

Where Deer Wanderby KivetComment: 6 - Very good potential. Nice scene. Criticism; likely not (and apologies in advance if wrong), but this does look slightly 'crooked' - the barbed wire fencing 'adds' to that too, so don't know. Depending what you had to work with I think that a crop variation (especially at the fore) to try to give the deer more dominance and 'pop' (obvious potential contrast issues here in pp), make this even better in my opinion. |

Sanderlings Wintering at the Pacific Coastby edmengComment: 7 - Nice capture. Familiar looking 'mirrored surface'.. Nice composition. Criticism; difficult, but even 'sharper', with more 'pop', make this better in my opinion. Perhaps a crop variation, depending of course what you had to work with, particularly on the right - more fine tuned to include/exclude that 'bubble'. Again, 'depending' what you had to work with, but more space above or below (below perhaps better re the reflections), using the shore/water line too, just for more overall 'balance', make it better in my opinion. |

American Tree Sparrowby BeagleboyComment: 7 - Very nice colors, bokeh/background, composition and capture. Criticism; 'sharper' and more 'pop' - but very difficult I know. |

Wanna Play?by dwolffComment: 4 - Looks like possibly good potential. Criticism; nudge rotation up on the right, sharper, less contrast (looks like pp issues here), a tweaking of colors and a crop variation (depending what you had to work with) all make this better in my opinion. |

Synchronicityby rasdubComment: 6 - Nice capture. Criticism; even though the 'synchronicity' and reflections of 'wildlife' are there, the mirror-like surface of the water/sand with the 'bubbles' really makes this shot in my opinion. 'If only' to get both nice and sharp would have made this much better in my opinion., but difficult, obviously |

Origens of Basketballby docpjvComment: 6 - Good capture. Good detail in the whites/feathers, nice color retention. Criticism; spelling in the title and the title does not 'enhance' this shot as another may have - minor perhaps, but still, small details matter. Difficult, as obviously an opportune capture, but sharper, especially on the beaks/bills and 'both eyes' (the left one has a 'glint' which is good), make this even better in my opinion. |

Fish Eagleby AlanBesComment: 6 - Good contrast control in the whites. Criticism; for this 'close', like to see more detail/definition in the feathers/texture/face/etc. Sharper and a crop variation (dependent what you had of course), especially to have the full white 'skirting' feathers around the neck in frame, make this even better in my opinion. |

Cayote (Not Ugly)by ZippyComment: 6 - Fairly good capture. Criticism; seems both blur and focal issues (the grass looks sharper focal wise). Sharper on the C Oyote, and possibly a tweaking of colors/contrast to get it to 'pop' more, make this even better in my opinion. 6 mainly because looks like a natural environment = more difficulty. |

Flightby vtruanComment: 6 - 'Almost' got them in individual 'flying sequences'. Good capture. Criticism; difficult, as obviously opportune, but sharper, more 'pop' and a tweaking of the colors, especially the sky - or otherwise a slight variation in composition/space (the 'centered' works, but I think a variation may have given this something extra, but not sure), likely make this even better in my opinion. |
