Good idea and very well executed. I just don't like how there is so much black space the makes the frames appear that they are floating in a weightlessness. There doesn't seem to be a need for a reference frame of reference (no pun intended). But, it is creative so I'll bump you up for that.

This is Mr. Czaja. I think this definately qualifies for odd. I like the randomness of the photo. I think this is the perfect challenge to attempt something like this. Good use of color, light, and props to make this shot interesting. I don't know if you tried to use Unsharp Mask or not, but if not, it looks like it could have used it a bit. Good job!

I'm going to have to give you a 9. I love the subtle elements of the photograph. The sign advertising "Fun Food" contrasted with the lack of fun that we see taking place. Smart. Nice use of black and white.

That is one wild and crazy architect. But thin again the person couldn't come up with anything more creative than a cube: albeit a random cube with strange window placement and shape. Good eye and take on the challenge.

I think the expression on the girl's face makes the shot. Good capture. Flowers in the upper right are just a bit distracting. I know that can't be control in a candid, but because this is a photo competition it has to count for something. Still a 7.

The motion blure is good. I also like how the back light works with the hat to create a glow. I guess this classifiies for odd. I think this site could use some creative and real photographs that are NOT snapshots, so I give you props. 7.

I love the shot and the reflected light on the left side of the photograph. I would have used my crop differently though. I would have left the negative space above the upper ball rather than below the relection. In its current crop it gives the feeling that the balls are floating and that the laws of gravity are not at work. Whe that is not a useful element of the photograph it makes it so that people think there is just something not quite right. Otherwise great 6.

Nice colors, good focus. Just a clean shot. But, I really enjoy unusual or odd shots of animals and so I have no choice but to give you a 9.

My Ol' Five String

I really like how the light is cast on the tree in the upper left hand corner. I think it allows for the banjo to be centered in the composition. I also like the country feel to the backdrop which makes me almost hear the stings being plucked. Good luck
