Stationary In Motionby jallasComment: I think this rates under the category of happy snap.
It could do with a great deal more attention to composition, to perspective and to lighting.
What is the image trying to say?
What should the viewer be coming away with?
How best could the image be composed to achieve this with punch?
Ask yourself those questions and have another go.
You'll notice a dramatic improvement. I promise.
Better luck next time. |

End of the roadby walrus451Comment: Very nice!
Did you try this picture in the evening or early morning too?
In full colour with enhanced contrast I think it could be quite an eye catcher.

Standing for Peace ... Running to Warby PhantomEWOComment: Your crew-cut crop is a bit too uncomfortable for my liking.
Good luck to you anyway.
And feel free to pass on my wishes of good luck to the force members you pictured.
We're praying for them. |

Stationary Sock Deviceby ramilComment: What to say...
The sock device certainly is stationary.
And so are the curtains.
Other than that the photo is lacking punch, and it doesn't grab my attention.
Better luck next time. |

101 Years and Still Countingby talmyComment: The flash shadow puts me off this photo, and it kills (pardon the pun) what could otherwise be a good idea.
Also, the column of the headstone would benefit from being pictured straight on. The skew angle is off-putting.
Other than that, it also seems slightly over-sharpened.
But good luck none-the-less. |

Man from Pompeiby tjmuellerComment: I'm just watching "Conan the Barbarian", and so this photo has taken on a disturbing quality for me.
Not that it wasn't disturbing, to begin with.
There's something about the composition which doesn't do it for me either.
Like it would benefit more from a rule of thirds adjustment. |

Trolley Ladyby wibingComment: Very nice work here.
Your lighting and colouring conveys the mood perfectly.
Not sure about your model's expression, though.
Good luck!
