Excellent use of dramatic lighting . I understand the rule of thirds but, to me is there is too much negative space that detracts from your subject it steals from the picture rather than adding to it.

You don't need that much tree in the picture takes away from the main subject. Your sky is also washed out which is easy to do with this much contrast. Being closer to the car would have taken car of that.

Lighting is too washed out. Need to slightly underexpose to bring out the saturation and darken the subject.
