Spreading Her Wings by toddheadComment: I like the idea and the contrast between the white dress and the very blue water. The arms also work well with the challenge! I might have cropped it a bit differently so her right arm and legs aren't so close to he photo's edge? I wonder how it looks in B&W??
Well done! |

Make your own Tracksby TallblokeComment: I love the feel of this picture! Very original processing. The composition is well balanced and the clouds really add to the mood of the photo.
Well done!
PS: I just started using borders so I'm a bit fixated on that but a tiny (a few pixels) black border might have added a contrast from the grey "voting" backgroung? |

Street Declarationby neophyteComment: Very original photo! I like the idea of the reflecting window with this VERY powerful message! The crossing lane and the buliding lines reminded me of the lines of the american flag...
I might have cropped it a bit different although you probably didn't have much choice with the perspective. I think there is a way in PS to force somewhat converging lines into straight parallel ones? not sure...
Well done |

Falun Gong Protestors (The Forlorn Hope)by pawdrixComment: The depth of field and composition are great. I really like the diagonal that the hands make, it leads the eyes into the picture.
I wonder though if this might work better in black and white... The colors of the clothes are a bit distracting to me.

Breaking the Bindsby Prime_TimeComment: My favorite so far! Wonderful sun, lighting, colors and idea! the only small distraction is that the sun is a bit fuzzy... (but it was probably setting fast!)
I hope you get a ribbon!

On the edge.by docpjvComment: Nice idea! The snail looks great and I love the edge. I like how one of the antennas is out of focus and seemingly poking right at the viewer.
For me, a table with different colors (to contrast better with the snail) might have worked better?
Well done! |

Close viewby StructorComment: I like your idea! Very original. It might have worked best for me if the image was a macro as well. Perhaps you were going for contrasting takes?
The out of focus curling of the film really adds to this image! Well done! |

Kiss Meby jab119Comment: I love the dead center face view of this frog. The colors are vibrant and there's good depth of field. The bit of glare on the left was distractring to me but I liked the neutral gradient background!
Very well done! |

I See You!by maxjComment: What a great expression and face! In my opinion, a sharper image and a square crop centered around the face (eliminating the background) would bring even more focus to the eyes. What a cutie! |

Rainy Day :)by chesireComment: I really think you have a great idea, how cute are little baby feet. Maybe focusing on just two little baby feet playing with each other? A stronger focus, a tighter crop around just the baby's toes?... I'm not sure how to best get rid of the strong shadows under the baby's feet since I'm still learning a lot about light sources but I have found useful keeping a portable high wattage light source nearby that I can just move around to best see where the shadows and glares are...I sometimes even use multiple desk lamps... |
