Great colours, and nice skin smoothing. The colours may just be a little oversaturated, particularly where it has blown out the red on his shoulder.

Interesting shot. Might not fare as well as it deserves with the DPC voters, but I like it.

I feel this image probably lost something in BW, and might have been better in colour?

At first glance, this image stands out as being different, and the title links really well to the image. Both halves of the quote contain elements in this image. However, the more I look at the image, the more I want from it. It seems to stop at the first powerful glance. To try for some technical suggestions, maybe it is something odd about the crop with the faces so close to the top, but for the shot taken, the crop is probably right - the heads, the uniforms, the handrail and hands, it all needs to be there, and nothing more. I do like the dark blue colouring.

Just in front of Notre dame, right? While backpacking through Europe with my sister 15 years ago, we just happened to run into Don Burke in this square. He was filming a special show in France! Hope you're enjoying your trip. There's some great shots in this set.

Nice portrait, with something a little out of the ordinary. I would never have known it was taken indoors - you've done a great job with the light. I remember a year or so back when you changed your username, and the reasons behind it. Well, it has paid off - you have certainly learnt to use the light very well! :)
