Tricky to vote on this one. The composition and the idea are quite nice, but the image clarity is bad, and the 'historical' effect doesn't do the image any favours. It's also slightly crooked. Then again, the technical flaws and the overall effect do make it stand out from the crowd.

It took me a while to work out what this was. It would be better if there was some more light to define his shape. There is also a blue-cast which should be fixed in editing. Nice idea though.

Nice angle and leading lines, but the lines don't lead anywhere, except away from the area of interest.

Impending Storm

The storm really doesn't stand out in this shot, so the title doesn't fit. With the BW, it actually looks like it was a blue sky with a polarising filter. :) Nice scene though, and the dark sky does help to focus the viewer onto the cottage and trees.

Phantom Train

Nice light trails. Overall, the photo is a little jumbled, with too many other lights competing for attention, and taking the focus off the train. Perhaps a darker background would help the train lights stand out.

This is nice, but doesn't quite get there for me. I think it's a little dark on the car, and the vignette is too strong. Awesome sky though!

Central Park

This shot looks a little cartoonish, with the different lighting colours, and stark lines and contrast. It's not really a photo of Central Park, so perhaps a different title would be better.

Monday Morning

Beautiful! Nice leading lines, the centred horizon and almost centred tree work well for me, and the colours are just perfect. For me, the photo actually gives the feeling of dusk, with the dim light and red/orange colouring, but I live on an east coast, so our mornings are brighter. You must live on a west coast, or inland.

Nice editing work, although it is a little dark, and the halos around the buildings are distracting. I'd love to see more detail on the rocks to give more image for the viewer to wander around.
