Me happy on the beachby JaimeVinasComment: all the pictures of this gal are hot, but this one especially has a solid composition and in general is enjoyable to take in. |

Parallaxby KaliComment: Yeah, gotta add this to the faves. Its an awesome shot without even noticing the subtleties, but the positions of hands really make this shot for me. The out-stretched arms of the child vs. the hands in pockets of the adult, it all speaks so much. I can see why this is your favorite shot. It's amazing how those little things can elevate a picture from one level to another. This is a fine example of of a layered, thought-provoking, evocative image. Beautiful. |

Power of expression by tmphComment: I remember this image distinctly and don't know why it wasn't on my faves list. It is pretty much a perfect image, being at once unique, evocative, and strong technically. Really one of the stand out shots here at DPC, sure there are tons of great landscapes and macros but not many images that I've never seen before. |

Simply Simpleby JulietNNComment: I love PP, i really do, but I think the darkness of this is too much even for me! I love the clouds and like the idea, i just think the transitions are a little too obvious. Still a very respectable showing! |

American 4thby mpreslarComment: Allow me to be your first fave on this. I love the image. While not perfect, this picture is just awesome. The reflections in the car and the silhouettes of the people set this image apart. Its not about the fireworks, its about the people watching the fireworks, the people sitting on their cars, there is a captured moment here. This picture is non-obvious, it is unique. This is the type of image you see in National Geographic, great shot. |

PLYMOUTHby notesinstonesComment: what??!? Underrated. i don't love the frame, but this shot is sharp and the tones and contrast are perfect, it all pops to me, this should have scored higher. |
