Over the Top.... !!Touchdown!!by risu81Comment: Neat shot... I wish it wouldn't have caught as much motion blur as it did... or maybe a tighter verticaly crop would help draw me straight to the subject? - JB |

Legend or Not?by indigo997Comment: Great idea for this shot. I hope that everybody "gets it." The limited DOF works nicely with this shot. You did a good job of suspending the blair witch thingy, it looks like it is just floating there. I like :) - JB |

Day of the Dead - Mexicoby JEMComment: This is a good shot for this challenge. This shot has a lot of potential! Personally, I feel that the background (everything outside of the drop) is somewhat distracting. Perhaps a tight vertical crop would have worked well. Or maybe shooting from closer, concentrating on the cross, the picture, etc. from a lower perspective? Just ideas... Nice shot, well executed. - JB |

Chopsticks standing in bowl=Death! (Japan)by NatashaComment: This is a neat shot. If it wasn't for the title, I wouldn't have understood it. I'm learning a lot of superstitions this week! I think this shot need ssomething more dramatic to really finish it off. The bowl seems to be slightly off center in the frame, to hurt the composition a bit. The bottom of the table being visible (ie. I can see "under the table") is a bit distracting. Maybe a different perspective could really finish this shot off, or maybe just a tighter verticaly crop would be cool? - JB |

Bodsleddingby indigo997Comment: Wow... great idea! The title is quite amusing :) You did an excellent job with the lighting, making the skin appear to be "white as snow." Great shot, sexy model, what more could ya ask for... Wow....!!!! - JB |

Transcendby AleciaComment: This is a wondeful shot! The polka dots work so well with this shot being in b/w. The transparency? of the dress with the polka dots showing through on both sides is a very nice touch. Not fair - you always have pretty models :) I'm undecided about the object in her left hand...? I don't know if a "solid" colored object would have worked better or not. Great shot! - JB |
