Tragicby PedroComment: yanno ~P~ I've looked at this image more than a few times trying to decide what the response was that I have when I see it. Overwhelmingly its beauty. I would love to know this persons story to sit down with him and learn. The courage and strength I see in those eyes is humbling. Perhaps i'm projecting what I want to see but somehow I dont think so.
So yes..I'm going to go with Beauty.. beauty of the man in the man in the photograph and beauty in the soul of the photographer for taking the time to see what so many of us would have looked away from.

Mr and Mrs Rupertssonby IncarlightComment: Thanks for posting that. I Like everything you've done to the picture. The cloning didnt stand out to me and i actually had to look to see where you had cloned. The faces in the edit grab your attention more.. over all I really like the picture. There is an absolute contrast in moods in their individual faces.. I hope her choice to marry him brings about a few more smiles than what her face is saying in the photo... ;)
You may have captured the very essence of their relationship... time will tell :) |

Mr and Mrs Rupertssonby IncarlightComment: I love this shot. You are asking alot of questions i'm not qualified to talk about. I will say this.. the expressions on their faces are priceless, her dress is amazing and the contrast of the flowers.. beautiful. I like the image as i see it. I'd be interested in seeing a closer crop.. just to bring them that much closer, but thats just me being curious. I like the gradiated blur. (the original would be interesting for me to see as well) not all that familiar with dodging or cloning so it would be a learning experience for me to see the difference :) |
