jimBMX.jpgby PuckzzzComment: Excellent lighting except for the small fact that the front tire is a little dimly lit. Great composition and colors as well. |

The colors of nature....by svavartComment: I think this was deserving of a way higher score, flower shot or not. The challenge rules didn't really describe what kind of still life, which I thought left it open to things like this. Cool looking plant, nice bokeh, and pin sharp focus. |

Swan Lake by De SousaComment: This was my personal pick for blue ribbon. Very nice indeed. So simple to make and print something like that in photoshop yet I've never seen anyone do that before. It's these kinds of things that make excellent photos--simple, original ideas. Your set-up, lighting, focus, exposure, all that stuff is all nice, but the idea itself is what won. I love this stuff and I love seeing images like this win. Congrats =] (Nice message, too. Honour killings should be condemned by all levels of government in those nations, not just discouraged.) |

Biggest Mistakeby TammerComment: lol, poor couple. I hope they don't know about the photo being used in this context. (at least not the woman, the man probably already knows after a week) |

Paint It Blackby jonfrommkComment: Neat idea, though the hand is a little dark and drab looking, and the bottom-right is a bit blown out. |

Stonedby srdanzComment: Too funny, lol. 10 just for being some quality comedic relief in this challenge. Photo is very aesthetically pleasing, as well. Lots to look at, and nothing about it is hard to look at. |

Dandelionby SouthCoastOr3gonComment: Wow, nice macro. I wish it's eyeball was in focus, though. That would have been really cool. The lighting on top of the bug is kinda harsh too, which detracts from the overall quality of the photo. Even so, I like it alot. |

Ventilator Blues - Released in 1972by AlainComment: Clever. Nice shot, too. Mid-flight dragonflies in focus has always been something I wanted to accomplish, which I have now, though nothing as nice as this. Problem with these is that they always want their back to the sun so their faces are always dark and difficult to see (with basic editing, anyways). Very good capture. |

The Winner takes all by geewhyComment: I like this more on second review. I think (hope) you'll be getting a ribbon for this one. Some parts are a little too white but the important parts of the image are nicely exposed and in focus. Very nice capture. |

Winnerby sunraygpComment: Best fit for this challenge that I've seen so far. Some of the areas are a bit blown out but IMO this is great. Don't be too down if you place highly, this is more of a front page of the sports section shot than a DPC ribbon shot. |
