pretty autumn colors. like the swooping line of the landscape leading up into the right corner, and the lake's curve swooping down to the lower part of the picture. the sky appears to be set at different saturation levels, with the right side being highly saturated and the left side appearing almost overlit. in general, this landscape photo lacks visual interest for me. it's nice, but it doesn't command my attention.

it would be interesting to see if adjusting the levels and curves of this image would remove the dark film, allowing the colors to pop more and allowing the viewer to see the detail in the people's faces.
