My first reaction was "fantastic lighting effect". Then I tried to figure out what I was looking at, but came up empty. It is a really neat abstract and very colorful. I could see this blown up on canvas, framed and hanging on a wall. I also think it would be a good photo to use in a mixed media context - perhaps printing it on canvas and then painting over portions of it to get a combination of photo and oils. Since you apparently are a painter, this might be an interesting marriage of two art forms for you.

I'm not sure I would describe this as "just" some little wild purple flowers. It's exceptionally well done. I think it would be great on a greeting card or book jacket too.
