The idea of the eagle being a symbol of independence would be more realistic if it did not have leather straps around it's ankles.....makes me think more of oppression than independence in this case.

Cropping - a bit too tight as I would have liked to see the front of the ski board included here.
Colors, Contrast, Detail, Focus - cannot tell as this image is not large enough.
If you use PhotoShop, there is a great tutorial on the proper way to resize for DPC. If you use a different software, I recommend you post in the forums and ask for some advice. Images that are this small often do not get as good of scores as they should. Hate to see a good photo getting knocked because it is too hard to see the details.

with the way this is cropped, the head almost looks as if it is being forced down by some unseen thing - would have tried to get the entire ehad in the shot
