'coldplay' in torontoby saintaugustComment: I can almost hear the strumming of his guitar. Nice emotive capture. Only suggestion would have been to bump up the saturation some. |

Dropping Outby joezlComment: Appears to have been over-sharpened as there is a halo around the guy. Also seems a bit dark to me. |

Being alone..by docpjvComment: A little heavy on the orange tones, but I like the composition, and feel of this. |

From darkness to lightby TOYComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
There is not much in focus here. Shallow DOF needs to have at least part of the subject in sharp focus, compared to the surroundings being in gradually softer focus. The image lacks appealing colors, or subject matter in my mind. Sorry, it just seems to be an image you entered last minute just to be in the challenge - nothing you would have taken to please yourself. Perhaps I'm wrong on that - that is just the feeling I get.

A terrorizing phobiaby ajschelComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
Technically the colors are nice and vivid, image is sharp, and composed well. As for conveying feeling - it does not do that. I think the point would come across clearer if there were at least a couple people either walking past the bag, or peering out from the cafe, looking at the bag suspiciously. Your idea was creative, just needed a little more put into it.

Frozen Bubbleby CantiqueComment: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
Amazing - a real frozen bubble! I think most took it for a Christmas ornament. Good creative thinking, composition, and use of shallow DOF.
The colors, exposure values, and white balance are all carried out well.
The only thing that is not working for me here is the front blade of grass in front of the bubbble - just a bit distracting. Perhaps if you had shifted the angle a little it would not have been so over-powering. Still, a very good shot.
