Wow - this re-defines the statement "living out in the middle of nowhere"!
If you ever get the chnce to re-shoot with a real camera as you say, I would try for a day where the sky has smaller clouds though as they seem to over power the image here.

What an excellent shot! The focus and determination on the boy in blues face, and the utter joy in the second boys face. I love it! Since he loves smiling at the camera so much, perhaps you needed to be standing near the finish line so he could smile at you and still focus on getting to the end. lol Either way - he's a real winner!

This looks like it's a fairly nice photo, juts a bit small too see the details. I love outdoor shots as the natural light I think mkaes for the best lighting. This gal here looks very relaxed. I love that this is a B/W. Nice job.
