amazingly good composition - The barred human forms are exceptional. this has a v/g two dimensional, near flat quality in the scene (painted is descriptive). The dark & the light appear on the same plane, and in an unusual way have a similar density of substance. A wonderful accomplishment of creation & characterization.

I love this nylon stocking soft focus trick - the monotone subject and texture is great, digital fake film edge frames for the most part just plain bug me.
my own best results in the past have come from old black pantyhose (less likely to pickup any cross light haze or coloration) stretched very tight and glued or screwed to empty filter ring, w/lens shade if it can be engineered.
